Music pupils honor Mrs. Marshall at final La Canada concert

Protection tips shared by local police officer at clubhouse meeting

The final Garden Season meeting of the Community Woman's Club featured a luncheon hosted by Mrs. Hugh Moreland with salads by Mrs. Fred Smith and Mrs Rodney Atkinson. Bud Trimble of the Police Department presented a home security demonstration, assisted by Roy Belluz from the Explorers Post. Elaine Carlson and Geneva Dillehay were elected as chairman and co chairman for the coming term. Marge Ross was appointed for the Santa Barbara Co Fair flower entry, Irene Dunn was re elected Travel Section chair, and Mildred Cross became co chair. The group's last outing was a bus trip to Universal Studios. no further meetings are planned for summer.

Lompoc Alpha Club Luncheon Moves Up to Wednesday

Alpha Club advances its June luncheon to this Wednesday to avoid clashing with the 51st annual flower show set for June 23-24 at Veterans Memorial Hall. Mines will serve the noon meal in the clubhouse. The event includes installation of 1973-74 officers and an original playlet The Family Circle.
