Bar Association breaks taboo with public benefit ad push
San Diego County Bar Association launched a five week campaign promoting its Lawyer Referral Service to help citizens access preventive legal aid. The effort spent 18000 dollars and offered a 10 dollar first half hour consult, listing areas like wills estates and business law. During the campaign 2350 residents contacted the service and 242 were prompted to call by the ads, with wills and family law among top queries.
