Skylab 2 Crew Delays Spacewalk After Air Leak
Skylab 2 astronauts fixed a leaking airlock on the space station and reported ongoing motion sickness. Mission commander Alan Bean, Owen Garriott, and Jack Lousma all felt unwell, delaying the first of three planned spacewalks by at least a day. Flight director Donald Puddy warned the delay could trim experiment time but hoped to resume normal flight by Sunday. The leak, in a 14 inch airlock leading to a vacuum trash container, was fixable and not linked to a meteoroid impact.
