County counsel informs Board of Supervisors that a 200000 overtime damages claim filed by the Deputy Sheriff's Association is without merit and should be denied. Deputy County Counsel W Dodds said the suit seeks overtime pay and was discussed with the Administrative Officer’s office, agreeing the claim lacks merit. The LA law firm Silver and Streller represents the association alleging denial of overtime pay and compelled use of compensatory time from Nov 26 to July 15.
