Army found guilty in school's mock trial
A Seattle mock trial at the University of Washington found the Army guilty of wide ranging charges including opposition to First Amendment rights and wanton slaughtering. Twelve active servicemen and one serviceman's wife heard testimony from witnesses including Bruce S. McClean AWOL 90 days and Dr. Peter Bourne. The verdict was affirmed by a 650 person audience with a death penalty pronounced by prosecutor Terry Cannon.
