Graduate square dancers from Central Coast and Southern California clubs travel to Santa Maria for the annual Marshall Flippo dance hosted by the Curly Q Club from 8 to 11 p m Thursday. Flippo,calling since 1951, has a Blue Star gold record and travels six months a year.

A memorial service was held for Ina Epperly. Upcoming events include visits, installations, and a school of instruction in February with JoAnn Burke leading.

The group praised the home as a fitting storehouse for local pioneers treasures and enjoyed antique homemaking equipment on display. The California State PTA participates in a National PTA program funded by more than 200000 from NIAAA for the 1975 76 project Alcohol A Family Affair. It supports a local training plan with high school teams and multi district workshops in Butte Alameda and Orange counties led by Dr Sidney Ottman of Santa Barbara.
