FCI Escapee Captured in Lompoc

Charles Lavern Lytle a 24 year old inmate from Idaho was arrested in an apartment on KK Street in Lompoc at 3 30 a m after a late bed check showed he was missing from the minimum security camp. He began serving a six year sentence for parole violation in May of last year.

Highway mishap injures car on Lompoc Casmalia Road

County tire officials report June Spraley lost a radiator hose which dropped onto the engine manifold causing a tire to suffer about 150 dollars in damage. The incident occurred a half mile north of Constellation Road near Lompoc Casmalia Road. Spraley resides at 144 Kent Street Vandenberg AFB.
