St Marys Church Sets Annual Parish Meeting in Lompoc

St Marys Episcopal Church will hold its annual parish meeting Sunday at 4 30 p m with a pot luck dinner to follow The budget for 1969 will be approved and three new vestrymen for three-year terms nominated Mrs Kenneth Adam Lee Bowles Mrs Lou Finis Lee Hill Mrs Clark Q Holland and George Howard may receive further floor nominations The outgoing senior warden is John Smith and junior warden William Fick Retiring vestrymen include Mrs Adam Delinger and Edward Doyle A 8 9 and 11 a m Holy Communion schedule is listed with several group meetings and study sessions The new vestrys first meeting is set for 7 30 p m in the lounge Reservations for a women and girls communion breakfast on Saturday with speaker Mrs George W Harris are due January 16.

Scientists schedule communion at First Church service

A communion service is set for Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in First Church of Christ, Scientist, 210 S. H St. The event is open to the community with a Sunday School for those up to 20 at 9:15 a.m. The lesson sermon is titled Sacrament and includes a Golden Text from I Samuel.
