Anti American demonstrations sparked by suspected Chinese influence erupted near Katmandu during Vice President Spiro Agnews visit. DMZ violations rise as U S helicopter hit in DMZ

Inside the DMZ, ground fire damaged a U S helicopter wounding one crewman in a fourth recent incident. Military spokesmen said incidents inside the zone since bombing halted in 1968 have surpassed 10 000 with 221 exchanges of fire. Near Cam Lo a South Vietnamese unit reported 17 guerrillas killed, one soldier dead and 14 wounded.
