The Lompoc Council of PTA observes Founder's Day March 16 with a 6 PM registration and 6 30 PM dinner in the Cabribe High School Cafeteria. The event honors service award recipients for their work benefiting children and includes election of officers for 1977 78 and installation by Virginia Shoemaker. Reservations for a roast beef dinner are due March 1 and may be sent with a $4 check to Barbara Berg.

The Women’s Division of Lompoc Chamber of Commerce canceled a Sunday tea planned at Christine Cass’s home due to the long holiday weekend causing limited responses to the telephone reservations. The regular luncheon will be Monday at Lompoc Valley Club with Brad Foster of Santa Maria as guest speaker on the Santa Barbara County split. serving at 12 noon and reservations required.
