Death toll rises from same junker car
In Des Moines six people have died in a 10 year old car from carbon monoxide poisoning over four months. Three teens were found dead in the vehicle at a drive in theater, with another teen in intensive care. Earlier victims included William L. Mitchell 36 Janet K. Tiedtke 26 and her daughter Donna Kaye. The car changed hands twice after the deaths and each new owner knew of a leaky muffler.
