No new trial for Sirhan B Sirhan
The California Supreme Court rejected a petition for a new trial for Sirhan B Sirhan convicted of assassinating Robert F Kennedy. The petition claimed new ballistics and other evidence would warrant retrying the case. defense sought habeas relief filed January 13 by attorney Godfrey Isaac. The decision leaves Sirhan serving a life sentence at San Quentin.
