Lompoc Jr. High honors Mrs. Lefkowitz for service

Mrs. Elinor Lefkowitz receives the honorary life membership from Lompoc Junior High School this week. A girls chorus led by Mrs. James Lowe sang Someone's a Winner while a cake was served after the presentation. Lefkowitz has long served youth groups and PTA roles in multiple California communities and now acts as freshman parent representative at Lompoc High School.

Methodist Men Sweetheart Dinner Planned at Los Alamos

The Methodist Men announce a Valentine sweetheart dinner Monday night February 10 at 7 in the Gay Nineties Room of the Los Alamos Hotel. Roast beef or steak dinners are offered and reservations are required in the church narthex this Sunday. Limited to 60 75 couples. first 75 registrations honored. An excellent dinner and entertainment is promised.

Rebekah Lodge 139 held an officer installation Saturday night in IOOF Hall Lompoc with Mrs Curtis Zierman district 40 deputy president and Mrs Neva Brisco district deputy marshal conducting. Room decor featured giant paper flowers a flower filled fountain and a Gertrude wall inscription.

Daughters Host Baby Parade Kickoff Dinner for Parlor Contest

La Purisima Parlor Native Daughters of the Golden West begins its membership contest with a baby parade and display of baby pictures.
