Court refuses to block Reagan Medi Cal cuts

Reagan says no California base closures planned

Armed burglary suspect arrested in Lompoc business firm case

Pasadena man Eld Coleridge Coffee twenty three was arrested in his car near a pawnshop in Lompoc after a Jan burglary. He was armed with a loaded rifle and with his wife and child present. Police seized two adding machines a duplicating machine and a postal meter valued around three thousand dollars. Pasadena police planned to return him to Altadena for the commercial burglary.

20 000 S Viet troops sweep into Cambodia

Nearly 20 000 South Vietnamese troops swept into Cambodia in a major drive against Communist forces in Fishhook and Parrot's Peak.
