Scott Ostler, 23, a BYU graduate with a communications degree, was named the Record sports editor succeeding Mike McCusker. A former Pepperdine and Mark Keppel High School student with journalism awards and early sports roles, Ostler has served as reporter and photographer and is not married. He lives in Lompoc after moving from Monterey Park and belongs to the National Guard.

SC and Bruins Lead Top College Rankings
