Benefit football game harms Santa Maria officers
A charity football game in Santa Maria injured six law enforcement officers from the Sheriff’s Department including one from Lompoc. Injuries listed include a broken knee for Sgt. Richard Baldivier, two broken wrists for Dep. Sammy Baker, a broken wrist for Sgt. Jack Delagrave, and a pulled groin for Det. Glenn Marchbank. Baldivier was hospitalized in traction.
