A garden hose aided in keeping the fire contained as damage reached about 500 dollars. Investigators were examining the cause.

Counterfeiter uses single-sided bills at laundry change machine
Police say a clever counterfeit used a standard office duplicating method to reproduce one side of genuine $1 bills. The device fooledJet Action Laundry mat at 1004 N. Lt. Walter Fredrick Williams found the altered money during routine servicing. Five counterfeit notes were mixed with real coins from patrons. Three genuine $1 bills were used to print the five forgeries.
