Nation-wide cold brings animals and icicles into view

Chavez workers plan picket of Imperial Valley lettuce growers

UPI reports Cesar Chavez led United Farm Workers organize picketing six Imperial Valley lettuce farms including Bud Antle Abatti and Bruce Church to discourage migrant workers from joining harvests. Chavez may join from Delano California amid court issues over a lettuce boycott and counter-picket plans.
