Herbie Day VW Mini Float Parade Draws Thousands at Disneyland
More than 625 mini floats rolled through Disneyland as VW owners entered creative rides in the Herbie Day contest. Entries included a macaroni and bean covered edible vehicle, a 49ers gold rush theme, and a Groucho Marx look alike among the crowd of about 8,000. Uncle Sam led the motorcade while participants spent up to 150 hours crafting their floats.
