Letters to the editor discuss William Barry Perkins, Allan Hancock College student body president, facing felony charges for a $9000 fraudulent insurance claim. The debate cites his campaign attack ads on Gary Hart, questions about election margins, and calls for informed voter choices amid the court process. A separate letter thanks the Lompoc Post Office and newspaper for support, and a UPI brief notes Volpe ruling out a revival of the supersonic transport program due to lack of funding.
