Santa Barbara County draft board chairman Richard T. Carrington warns young men that the end of the Vietnam War does not end the requirement to register. The law requires registration within 30 days before to 30 days after 18th birthday with no exceptions. Late or non registration is a federal offense and can lead to FBI arrest and trial.

Memorial services set for Master Sergeant John Lundskow
Memorial services will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. in the Main Base Chapel for Master Sergeant John Lawrence Lundskow 339 who died Tuesday at Vandenberg Air Force Base Hospital. Interment will be at Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island Illinois. He was born in 1934 in Illinois and last resided at 621 Elm WAFB. He served at the base for ten years. Surviving are his widow Frances and a son John Jr and a daughter. Friends may call at McPeek Family Mortuary this evening and tomorrow until 8 p.m. Funeral services are pending at Starbuck Mortuary for Elizabeth Barbara King 86 who died yesterday at 619 North Third Street. She was born in 1888 in Detroit and lived in Lompoc the last three years with her daughter Mrs Agnes Wilshire. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Los Angeles.

Skylab 3 astronauts to retake earth photos after filter error
Skylab 3 crew William Pogue Gerald Carr and Edward Gibson will get another chance to photograph the earth after a camera was used without a necessary filter. Mission control assured them the overexposed shots can be recovered with no problem. Pogue expressed relief and apologized for the mishap.
