Cesar Cedeno detained after Dominican motel shooting

In Santo Domingo a woman 21 was shot to death in a Keko Motel. Cesar Cedeno turned himself in for questioning amid police plans to bring him before a court. The Astros center fielder fled in a sports car after the incident and had recently complained of jewelry theft. Cedeno had a strong 1972 73 season record with 56 stolen bases and 168 hits.
