Parks panel extends Pismo Beach recreation plan
The California Parks and Recreation Commission approved two resolutions to extend recreational uses of Pismo State Beach and Pismo Dunes in San Luis Obispo County. It added four amendments including waiving vehicle entry fees for certain recreational vehicles and a new highway entrance off California 1 for non overnight visitors. An experimental plan between the state and Pismo to close the Ocean View Avenue exit was approved for study.

Union Safety Teams Inspect Mines as Work Resumes
