Record still going strong plans for new Lompoc Record building
Plans discussed weeks ago to build a new Lompoc Record rose quickly as editors and managers revisited the project. The staff scrambled to publish amid water damage and lost headlines as offices and backshop moved locations for Thursday’s issue. Don Newcombe of the Dodgers joined tonight’s diploma ceremony for 44 inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution with 88 graduating this year and 439 since 1966-67.
