3.5 per cent raise approved for district staff

School trustees approved a 3.5 percent salary hike for nearly all of the district’s about 1,000 employees using roughly $700,000 in extra federal impacted aid. Administrators Supt. Glen Wegner and two assistants Arthur Timmer and Mel Wilde were excluded from the 3.5 percent raise. Wegner requested 2.5 percent for the top three admins.

Wholesale prices drop first time in two years
