Mystery star sighting could alter universe theory
Dr. Stuart Bowyer of the University of California says ultraviolet measurements from a star 300 light years away seen during the Apollo-Soyuz mission could revise the view of space as a hydrogen helium soup. He notes the star in Coma Berenices emits ultraviolet light a million times the solar level, possibly HZ-43, and could reveal aging stars long unseen.
