Celia devastates Texas coast killing four and wounding thousands

Two Officers Hurt As Sheriff Car Collides With Dispatcher

Sheriff's patrol car speeding to an emergency in Mission Hills collided with a small car driven by a Lompoc Police Dispatcher injuring both drivers. Dep. Robert Shade age 26 suffered a possible concussion and Philip Crosby age 27 had facial cuts. Both were slated to miss work for several days. Police reported red light and siren were in use.
