Quakes Hit Mojave Desert Seismic Swarm Near Ludlow
Caltech Seismological Observatory reported 11 light earthquakes in two days in a 60 mile Mojave swath between Ludlow and Twenty Nine Palms Base. Tremors measured 4.0 3.5 and 3.6 on the Richter scale. A previous swarm lasted 1 hour 14 minutes. Scientists link the activity to the Ludlow Fault and say no strong quake is expected.

Indians to regain Grand Canyon park land title
