Chamber to honor Williams for track achievements
Lompoc's Terry Williams will be feted at a civic luncheon hosted by the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce at Lions Inn. The 18 year old track standout recently returned from Europe having won 5,000 meter races in West Germany and Poland and a 10,000 meter race in Odessa as a member of the U S national junior track team.

Woman injured when car overturns near Lompoc
A 17 year old woman, Vickie Adcock of 51942 North K Street, sustained minor bruises after the family car rolled over on Santa Lucia Canyon Road when a front car allegedly forced a swerve. Her husband James Adcock, 23, was uninjured. The crash occurred about 4 30 p m. at the Lompoc Casmalia Road approach. Other accidents on Pine Avenue and H Street involved Jerome Emry 22 and Johanna Johnson 22 with minor injuries to DeBolt 17 at 7 54 p m.
