Burglary arrest reports on Highway 101 near Old Coast
Lizarraga, under the influence of alcohol, was taken into custody Wednesday night on Highway 101 two miles south of Old Coast Highway and booked in Lompoc Jail on $750 bail. A burglary at 605 Ft Ocean Ave. reported $850 in losses including a color TV and cash. Police said Danny Charles Gray now lives at Vandenberg AFB while moving from Lompoc.

Emergency plan to unify county dispatch centers forwarded
A proposal to centralize all county emergency dispatch functions under one Public Safety Dispatch Center is forwarded to the Board of Supervisors. Charles Oleson would direct the center, reporting to the Sheriff while serving security needs, with work to begin July 1 and equipment to be acquired. The plan divides the county into four areas and seeks to create a true countywide 911 system, reducing staffing and integrating agencies.
