ATLANTA United Press International reports Ted Turner the Atlanta Braves owner apologized for a flippant remark viewed as anti semitic. He said antisemitism is no joking matter and expressed deep regret in a letter to the Anti Defamation League. Turner cited that his comment at a Salisbury North Carolina awards breakfast referenced Jerry Kapstein and his conduct, stressing the remark did not reflect his beliefs.
