Shooting matches are becoming a nuisance. E T Stevens visited for a trade with Ida villians. J Wiley had strawberry vines blooming on Christmas.

A Des Moines area district meeting held January 9, 1873 at a Deer Creek schoolhouse chose the meridian line route between Logansport and Young America for a new road.
