Loganport approves funds to buy three new boilers
The Logansport city council approved a total of 50,403 dollars from water works and electric light funds in a ten minute session. The electric light department will spend 46,353 dollars on boilers and related equipment, ash and coal conveyors, a turbine condenser pump, street lamps, and new foundations. The water works allotment covers brick stack repair and final payment on a new Allis-Chalmers water pump capable of 6,000,000 gallons daily.
