SHLD Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Roller and children visited Nelson Brandt and family of Harrison township Sunday. Delegates reported a good meeting at the NVV I C conference in Burrows last week. Rev. Wiles was absent due to his father’s illness. Former pastor Rev. Mosteller and Mrs. Mosteller attended. Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Brandt visited family in Lafay­ette Thursday night. Several locals, including the Leach and Pryor families, hosted and enjoyed refreshments. Mrs. Martha Watts, formerly of the area, is ill in Logansport. A birthday dinner at Mae Porter’s in Logansport honored Mrs. Porter’s mother, Mrs. Fannie Hinkle. about thirty guests attended. Jesse Light is visiting relatives at Bruce Lake.
