Indianapolis engineer C. G. Fisher plans a fast Stoddard Dayton automobile strapped to a giant balloon piloted by G. L. Bumbaugh of Springfield. The 24 horsepower stripped car will lift with the balloon and fly 100 to 200 miles, weather permitting, starting near Twenty First Street gas station. Fisher hopes a safe landing will allow a quick return by auto.
