Lieut George Edwin Mulcahy 24 son of Mr and Mrs George Mulcahy 2525 Broadway died at Tours France May 19 from pneumonia and pleurisy per cable received by his parents. He was first Cass County man in France after war declaration and served on General Pershing’s Headquarters staff rising from private to lieutenant. Survived by parents one sister and two brothers.
