The Longwell-Cummings Co. is soliciting merchants for advertising and for sale of the 1910 Logansport directory. The city board of works ordered four copies for city officers, with demand previously exceeding supply. Compilation will occur this fall with issuance planned for early 1910, aligning with the census to ensure accuracy.

The special train leaves Logansport at 2 58 p m and reaches the Falls at 7 00 a m next morning. A man named William O Connors, arrested in Washington Indiana for pretended exposure to the Catholic church, is declared insane but previously released. Investigations show he sought hospitals by feigning insanity to obtain lodging and board. He reportedly traveled to Longcliffe and was educated, using fake mental illness to gain a home in a hospital.
Burglars entered the Buchholtz and Arnold meat market on the South Side Saturday night and robbed a large quantity of hams. Moments earlier proprietor Buchholtz fled with most of the firm’s ready cash, leaving little for the thieves. A lawsuit seeking $739 against the firm was dismissed by the plaintiff, and there has been no word from Buchholtz since his departure.
A deal completed yesterday brings Boone to Saratoga, with Boone noted as a long time figure in the area and well known among local circles. Details of the transaction remain limited and general improvement plans are anticipated.
