Springfield Ill January 28 A senate bill proposes appointing a board of commissioners to plan selling bonds and begin construction of the deep waterway funded by the people’s $20 000 000 vote The plan specifies a minimum depth of fourteen feet with rock sections deepening to twenty four feet to accommodate future deep water transportation demand.
