Fairbanks hosts a forestry association gathering today with events starting at 1 30 PM at Oxlock. Local participants and members are advised to attend for updates and talks on forestry practices and community projects.
Prominent Cass County citizens rush to identify with the movement to save city and county trees. A mass meeting will form the Cass County branch of the Indiana State Forestry Association this afternoon at 1 30 in the main court room. Charles Warren Fairbanks will address the crowd at 2 after arrival at 11 45 on the I U T line.
Three youths Ralph Randall Carl Benefield and Charles Tucker all under fourteen were arrested near Third and Market for curfew breaches. Parents were summoned and the boys returned home with orders to appear in city court this morning. Clifford King, on parole from Plainfield reformatory, was also taken into custody for further correction after a bicycle theft link.
Margaret Swope described illness and arm pain after Dr. B Clarke Hyde allegedly injected pus germs in her arm at the Swope home. She said the hypodermic caused swelling and sleepless nights while Hyde claimed he gave only camphorated solution.
