Brownstown Ind Aug 26 Herschel P Phillips 17 arrested charged with attempting to rob the State Bank at Medora and shooting assistant cashier Miss Mera Hunsucker. A written confession says he fired in fear after the demand of 5000 was refused. He led authorities to an overcoat clue and was sent to Jeffersonville reformatory.
