Mayor Rowland E. Bunch of Muncie, recently linked to a fake fight swindling case, visited Logansport with Charles Michaels. They toured the city, praised local officials, and discussed high living costs and army food distribution before departing for Muncie after a late-night stay.
Two Mexicans were killed and the Slaughter Land and Cattle company ranch near Montezuma Sonora suffered severe damage in a Yaqui raid. Twenty five horses were stolen twenty cattle killed and the headquarters was looted. The raiders then hit San Nicholas Chispas and Babacanora mining camps taking food and supplies.

The fifth and fiftieth U.S. infantry regiments now in the United States are ordered to Silesia. They will come to Coblenz to be equipped before crossing Germany. They are expected to stay in the Coblenz region for at least a month and will receive field and hospital outfits plus two months of rations.
The senate foreign relations committee announced an eight day schedule to broaden its public inquiry into the peace treaty. It will cover Fiume Aland islands and German African colonies with witnesses from Italian Jugo Slav Greek Irish Lithuanian Ukrainian Estonian Letts and American Negro groups. The plan reduces amendment work to two days this week. Thursday is set for the African colonies Negro delegation.
