Arrest in Murder Case Ends 48-Year Wait
After 48 years on the run, Andrew Wise a white man wanted for killing a Buncombe county constable was captured in Williamson West Virginia. Indianapolis Aug 24 Captain A G Chittick of ambulance company No 1 announced plans to recruit 67 men and five officers for field hospital company No 2 and 100 more recruits to fill two ambulance companies and one field hospital company now in Texas.
