Two men identifying as J. C. and A. J. Dempsey and claiming to be cousins, residents of this city, were arrested in Peru and arraigned before the mayor yesterday charged with intoxication. Each paid a fine of 1 dollar plus costs after stating they went to Peru for a good time.
A drunken Lenard caused a fatal fall after a shove in a crowd. A policeman restrained him, and he was finally jailed. The incident began when he collided with a man during a push, leading to a deadly sequence and injuries.
