Gus Lambrigger proprietor of a animal show on the Kreuzberger lot was bitten on the right forearm by a large snake during a demonstration in Peru. The snake took twenty two of its eighty teeth into his arm and a doctor treated the wound. Lambrigger replaced the dead 27 foot 300 pound reptile with a 28 foot 400 pound successor.

The naval tug Nezinscot capsized near Halibut Point Cape Ann while bound from Portsmouth to Boston in a westerly gale. A Vincennes party’s auto ran into a ditch on the Apraw road two miles northwest of Washington. A young woman was badly cut as the car burned. farmers rescued the group and transported them to Washington. Names could not be learned, but one member was Dale Shaffer of Bridgeport Illinois. The wrecked car belonged to the Wabash Automobile Company of Vincennes and was driven by Harry Townsley.
