Sheriff William Pullen found Logansport youths George Boose and Clem Ray missing with their jail cell door unlatched. A drawing of the original key and a locksmith visit suggest an escape aided by a pattern. The missing boys, aged sixteen and eighteen, may have been aided by the father who had visited them.
