Quarrel Ends in Assault Arrest of Terre Haute Man
Grover Kiser of Terre Haute was arrested Saturday evening for assaulting Mrs. Clara Clarke of Wabash avenue during a visit to her home. The dispute began when Kiser accused Miss Jessie Higgins of infidelity. Clarke says she stumbled and was kicked in the back as she intervened. Patrolman Wermess chased and captured Kiser on Fourteenth street after he fled on a bicycle. Keiser received twenty days in jail.
