Man Ends His Life After Despair Over Wife’s Death
Joseph Ford, sixty five, of near Lancolz, shot himself after tying a noose and placing a shotgun barrel in his mouth. Despondent since his wife’s death two years earlier, he was found hanging with his head blown off. Coroner Dr. G D Miller ruled death by his own action. He lived with his son Ira, with Milo Ford in another city.

Louisville brakeman killed on first run in city yards
Ivan Bradley twenty four resident of Louisville Ky student brakeman on the Louisville division of the Panhandle was killed in the south yards yesterday during his first run. He was struck by passenger train No 20 carried under wheels and his body broken with death nearly instantaneous. Bradley had arrived earlier that day on a freight train and climbed down between two cars when the other train No 40 passed at forty miles an hour striking him as he jumped. The body was prepared for burial and sent home to Louisville.

Liquor sale case leads to multiple arraignments
