Nellie F. Zollman of Galveston sues for divorce from George Zollman a railroad section worker. George fails to appear prompting court suspicion and a police arrest to compel his testimony. He remains jailed awaiting Monday session.
An American Flag association campaign urges governors mayors teachers and editors to celebrate Flag Day June 14 1777 1818 star addition history and the flag as a symbol of liberty. Flag Day has been honored in this city by G A R and other patriotic groups.
Mrs. Charles C. Lambert of 115 Barrow Street was struck by a car driven by George Elliott as she attempted to cross at Third and Broadway. The impact left a dislocated hip. she received treatment at Dr. Rubsam’s office and remained uncomfortable the afternoon.
