A roof fire in an Italian home in Jerusalem started from a dove stove flue and caused a brief fire department run this morning. Loss was small, totaling under 200 dollars across the twelve fires in March. February saw eleven runs, per Chief Livingston.
A Kokomo fireman A Bohannon reports his purse containing twenty six dollars was stolen en route from Burrows after attending a funeral. He bought a ticket to Kokomo, paid with the missing money, but officers found no trace and the thief remains unknown.
The school board appointed six enumerators to canvass the city for children ages six to twenty one. Work starts Monday to report every child, with the aim of accurate figures for state school fund distribution. Enumerators emphasize no tax connection and urge residents to cooperate.
The new jury commissions Julius Leinemann and James D Porter have drawn grand and petit jurors for the April circuit term. Three East township men and four others from various townships were selected, including Henry J Potthoff and Patrick Joyce Jr for the grand jury and Fred Porter Clinton, Jefferson Beene, Michael Corrin, and others for the petit panel.

It’s hailed as the best musical comedy in Logansport in years with tuneful songs, quick action, clever principals and chorus, and standout features like the faceograph and Yama Yama girls.
Students at Star City High held an afternoon contest to select the school’s entrant for the annual musical contest among Star City Winamac Medaryville and Francisville. Contestant Eva Kohler studied under Florence E Cassidy and Cassidy attended the event.

Palm Sunday marks the Lord's entry into Jerusalem with palm leaves for procession. Easter falls on Sunday April 11 and celebrates Christ's resurrection. The date is set as the first Sunday after the full moon following March 21.
A dog seized with distemper was boxed and removed on the dead wagon after threatening pedestrians at Fifth Street corner. Patrolman Benjamin Dean intervened to prevent harm.
Rev. J. C. White of Broadway M. E. church Rev. C. H. Brown of Market street and Rev. E. C. Dunn of Wheatland avenue left yesterday for Greenfield Indiana to attend the Northern Indiana conference. Several delegates accompanied them to the meeting.
J. E. McCarthy superintendent of the Pennsylvania lines west of Pittsburg and General Manager Peck visit the city on private car No. 38. They conduct an inspection and will traverse the Bradford and Chicago divisions.
A special Wabash train visited Delano to inspect local offices and property for potential improvements. The 25 minute stop followed an evening reception in Lafayette with Commercial Club members. The party included F A Melano president and other St Louis Chicago and Toledo executives.
County and township assessors met in the courthouse to establish a uniform average valuation for households and farm implements. Tax officials J. W. McCardle and Fred Guerner spoke on harmonizing district valuations, citing wide regional differences and notable county figures for households, farming implements, horses and mules across the state.
Dr F M Bozer has purchased a forty horsepower Oakland touring car made at Pontiac Michigan and will represent the agency in this district. H Herif of the State Auto company Indianapolis visited to instruct on handling the machine and a driver will be sent here to operate it in the hill climbing contest.
Longtime figure W. D. Owen also known as Ubero Billy has reportedly been arrested in Atlanta, Ga under the name W W Fowler. He once led the Ubero Coffee and Rubber scheme and fled after the collapse, with associates locally and nationally tied to the fraud.
