Panhandle flagman Frank Brown, stationed at Crown Point, fell from a car while switching a train. He landed on the platform, suffered a severely lacerated face needing sixteen stitches. He was taken to a city hospital, later moved home, face not considered life threatening.
Casparis Stone Company sued for 1000 by the estate of Peter Piccolona, deceased, amid claims the plant worker was killed there. A Peru barber, William E. Miller, released on bond after arraignment for alleged paternity of Minnie Milliken’s child. Minor trauma case: Quincey Dickinson released after an ear injury from a boy blowing into it. Local notices grant letters of executorship for Charles E Hale and Harriet M Maloit estates.
